Benchmarking Dillemia

Extreme Tech has posted an editorial article entitled The Murky World of 3D Benchmarking talking about the current state of benchmarking. Speaking as a reviewer who must evaluate video cards, the issues raised through the recent nVidia/FutureMark arguement over 3DMark03 has a lot of impact on how I do my work. As such, I have to consider how I want to spend my time when I do evaluations beacuse as Extreme Tech says, I don't have time to babysit all the benchmarking or else I wouldn't have the time to work on other articles or reviews.
