Net Reviews: XP-TMC Athlon Multiplier Upgrade Kit
Wednesday August 6, 2003
AMD's Athlon line of processors has been very popular with the enthusiasts for overclocking. Their most recent processors are not locked allowing for easy overclocking. Older processors were locked requiring a difficult modification to the processor to allow for additional multipliers. MODTHEBOX has a review of the Upgradeware XP-TMC Athlon Multiplier Upgrade Kit. This adapater allows one to change the multiplier on older Athlon processors without the chip modifying. Of course, if you aren't familiar with overclocking, you can always check out our What is Overclocking? article.
