Net Reviews: Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 SATA RAID-0
Saturday August 23, 2003
Many of today's latest computer systems come with some form of RAID controller onboard. With the most recent motherboards, this is generally an integrated RAID-0/1 driver. While not necessarily a review of a specific product, modtown today has an article on a Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 SATA RAID-0 setup. They detail the type of performance gains that one is able to obtain by using an extra drive and a little bit of the tech supplied in many of today's systems. If you are not familiar with RAID, check out my What is RAID? article.
