Half-Life 2 Benchmark

Valve software, makers of Half-Life and the upcoming Half-Life 2, have released preliminary details about their upcoming DirectX 9 benchmark based on the code for Half-Life 2. HardOCP has a very detailed analysis of the presentatation including the various slides presented that are of interest. Valve has found that the ATI line of cards have better performance under their benchmark. Beginning Sept. 30th, the general public should have access to the benchmark allowing us to confirm their findings.
