Net Reviews: IBM ThinkPad R50

Recently IBM announced a new technology for mobile notebook computers that they referred to as "airbags" for a hard drive. Essentially, they designed a sensor that would detect sudden movement (such as a fall) and automatically park the heads of the drive in a notebook to prevent data loss. While not available on any ThinkPad notebooks yet, PC Magazine has a preview of the IBM ThinkPad R50 that features this new technology.
