Net Reviews: Western Digital Raptor 75GB

Monday January 19, 2004
Last year Western Digital announced that it would enter the Serial ATA hard drive market with an enterprise drive, the Raptor. It was an amazingly fast drive with its 10,000 rpm speed but lacks storage space at only 37GB and hefty price tag. Its performance attacted a lot of enthusiasts though. Hardware Avenue has a review of the new Western Digital Raptor Serial ATA 74GB. This is an update of the Raptor drive that doubles the space and gives it a slight performance boost.
