Net Reviews: Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition 3.46GHz

After Intel's announcement that they would not be releasing a 4GHz Pentium 4 processor, many wondered how they would improve their processors performance. The Tech Report takes a look at the new Intel Pentium 4 3.46GHz Extreme Edition. While this is a slightly slower clock speed than the 3.6Ghz model, it has a faster 1066MHz frontside bus speed that can give it increased performance. Of course, it also requires the new Intel 925XE chipset as well.
