Net Reviews: AMD Athlon 64 X2 and Opteron Dual Core

Last week, Intel unveiled their first dual-core processor that is now available for purchase. This prempted the release of AMD's dual core processors by a few days. Now AnandTech takes a look at the AMD Athlon 64 X2 and Opteron Dual Core. The Athlon 64 X2 is geared towards the consumer market while the Opteron Dual is geared towards the server and workstation market.
