Averatec made a name for itself by producing low cost highly portable notebook computers. They recently expanded to offer more options including widescreen notebook computers, but mobility is still one of their main goals. CNet has a look at the new ultraportable Averatec 1000, a complete notebook that comes in at only 3.6 pounds.
