The major product release this week was Intel's latest and probably last processor based on the NetBurst architecture, the Pentium Extreme Edition 965. While it does boost the speed of the Pentium up to 3.73GHz, it still falls short of the 4GHz goal Intel originally planned for. The EE in the product name is probably more suited to be called extremely expensive as it will cost much more than many users will be willing to spend.

Beyond the CPU review, there are a number of reviews of mid to low end graphics cards. So, if you are in the market for a video card under $200, you might want to consider checking out some of the reviews of new and upcoming mid-range graphics cards.
