Toshiba Tecra A8 Review
Toshiba's Tecra A8 business notebook shares many of the same basic design as its Satellite line of notebooks. Even though they may look very similar, the features between the two are very different. Extra care was put into the case to make it more durable and special engineering was put inside to cushion the various components. Find what other differences the Tecra A8 has and if it makes a good choice for consumers in my latest review.

My Tecra A8 is fantastic. From day 1, the system has been the most durable notebook I have had. The performance blows away the experience with my Dell Latitude D800. The fingerprint reader stores all my passwords, and the display is fantastic.
I recommend this for all users that need a laptop with a larger screen.
I want to buy A8-S8414 (T5600 cpu-1GB Ram-120 HDD) but I have some questions,I already use satellite A105-S361 (2.0Sonoma-1GB ram-120 HDD) I don’t know will this laptop satisfy me? I don’t see any major diff. between these 2 laptops,my major reason to change is the design of tecra,as I know tecra is much more durable(anti-shock,security,etc…)
So if you have any usefull info or another brand/model you think is better that tecra, please send a comment.
thanks in advance
In terms of the two systems, the Tecra A8 will definitely show improved performance over the Satellite A105 model you currently have. The Core 2 Duo provides improved performance due to a more optimized processor and the dual core over the single core Pentium M. The build quality is also better for the Tecra systems. If you are looking at other systems to compare the Tecra A8 with, I would advise looking at the new Lenovo T60 Widescreen model as well.
