ASUS is one of the world's largest supplier of computer components. In addition to that, they also have a thriving business as a notebook PC manufacturer. They even offer a range of "aggressively priced" models. Actually finding these models in the market can be quite difficult. One such model is the ASUS F5R. It provides some unique items that are not typically found on low cost notebooks. But is this enough for such a highly competitive market segment? Find out more in my review.

Hi. According to Mark there are better options available for an equal or even lesser amount. Can someone suggest a laptop costing the same and performing better? For me, Windows Vista is not an issue. I am not into games either. Good screen display and battery durability plus light weight and most importantly after sale support are what I am looking for.
