ASUS has had huge success with very low cost, basic laptop computers with their Eee PC netbook line of computers. They are now moving that success into the desktop market with the new Eee Box desktop PC. This extremely small PC promises to bring a very low cost, environmentally friendly system for those that don't need a full sized desktop computer. Can the Eee Box really do more than just be an internet appliance? Find out in my review.

I bought an EEE for my kids and they both love it. I like it because its Linux based OS means I dont have to worry about virus, trojans and malware.
I was ready to get the EEE box until they announced they dropped the Linux version they had mentioned in Taiwan expo.
Had they not had previous Linux experience, I would have understood. Now they want to release a new product with an 8 year old OS.
