Intel's new Core i7 marks the first real dramatic change in the Intel Core processor lineup. It is the first of Intel's processor to use an integrated memory controller, something that AMD pioneered with its Athlon series. Gateway has decided to use this new CPU and memory architecture for their latest version of their FX series desktops designed for performance and gaming.
