HP's first netbook system was very much designed for the corporate world. Its stylish and durable metal casing meant that it was fairly expensive compared to traditional plastic cased netbooks. It also used an older and slower VIA C7-M processor. HP has now introduced their new Mini 1000 netbook that is much more on par with other netbooks and is more consumer friendly. Do all these changes lift HP beyond the competition in a crowded netbook market? Find out in my review of the HP Mini 1035NR netbook laptop.
