Polywell advertises their Poly i750SLI as a high performance desktop PC. Depending upon the configuration, it could very well end up as a system that costs thousands of dollars. Of course, the system can also be configured as a more modest mainstream system. Desktops featuring SLI capable motherboards are typically geared towards gamers.
