ATI's Radeon HD 4890 graphics processor has been getting a lot of press lately because of its strong performance and relatively affordable price tag. The graphics core is essentially an optimized version of the older HD 4870 graphics core that allows for greater clock speeds. Most companies have elected to just use the standard reference design for their cards. Sapphire has decided to rework the card entirely to give it a new look, features and improved cooling. Does this card really separate itself from the rest of the Radeon HD 4890 cards? Find out in my review of the Sapphire Radeon HD 4890 Vapor-X 3D graphics card.
