ASUS is the most prolific of the netbook manufacturers even producing some Atom based netbooks that have been priced over $600. Netbooks have some severe limitations in terms of their performance and features. ASUS is one of many companies that has begun using Intel's CULV platform as a means to bridge the gap between netbooks with some affordable yet long running ultraportables. The UL30A is their first offering in the US which they claim can run up to 12 hours. Can this $700 laptop really run that long? Find out in my review of the ASUS UL30A-X1 ultraportable laptop.
