Toshiba's 13-inch Less Than Portable

13-inch laptops are generally considered to be part of the ultraportable market segment. This is especially true of the new ultrathin CULV based laptops but in the past year, a number of larger models with more features where released including the Satellite U505. These sacrifice their weight and size for those that don't want to sacrifice ports or DVD drives. Is this kind of trade of really worth it though?
