Gateway seems to be primarily a budget oriented PC maker now. Where they once made high performance gaming class laptops, instead they focus on media oriented laptops that have price tags under $700. One of their most recent offerings uses the AMD Fusion processor lineup to help keep the costs down while including a few more media features than they did with their Intel versions.
