Amazon's Kindle Fire certainly set the stage for more affordable tablets when it came out last year. They improved on that by releasing the Kindle Fire HD that offered an improved screen and interface at the same affordable price tag. In addition to the 7-inch version, Amazon has finally released their 8.9-inch version of the tablet for just $100 more. This places it just below the much anticipated iPad Mini but with a higher resolution display. Does the tablet offer more than just a larger screen though? Find out in my review of the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch tablet.
