Most of the companies seem to be going with thinner ultrabook laptops for their 14-inch models these days. In the past, Sony has been known for producing more of the smaller ultraportable laptops that still featured full laptop performance components and optical drives. With their push to be more affordable, they have designed more standard class laptops with the 14 to 15-inch range than they have in the past. The VAIO E series is their more basic and affordable class of laptop. Does this full featured laptop still compete well on price and features or is it falling behind what the ultrabooks now provide? Find out in my review of the Sony VAIO SVE1412CCXB laptop.
