PC manufacturers have embraced the new ultrathin laptops that Intel has dubbed the ultrabook. While there are many affordable options out there, Apple's design still retains the thinnest overall profile on the market and is surprisingly not that much more expensive than the PC alternatives. If Apple's prices are still a bit out of reach there is always the option of going with a MacBook Air 11-inch refurb for just $849. This the the base 11-inch version that features a Core i5 dual core processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 64GB solid state drive and USB 3.0 ports which make expanding it a bit easier than past models. The best part is that Apple provides their refurbished units with the same warranty as new models. Check out my review of this 2012 model for more details.
