Maybe you got a new software program that you can't run on your older computer. Maybe its a new peripheral device such as a camera but you don't have the correct peripheral port on your PC. Perhaps it is a new digital LCD monitor that didn't come with a HDMI cable. And maybe its a new computer that you have to transfer your data files to from the old one.
All of these are potential problems that can be the aftermath of holiday gifts that don't exactly work out as well as planned. Many of these problems can be solved easily, but may require some additional purchases. In today's article, I take a look at some of the common issues with holiday computer gifts and some of the solutions available to correct them.
