Tablets are all the rage with consumers now even though they lack the ability to do as much as traditional computers. Microsoft saw this as a major challenge and worked hard to redesign the Windows operating system to incorporate many of the simplified interface aspects of tablets to try and unify the experience across multiple devices. Many of the new all-in-ones and laptops are starting to incorporate touchscreen displays to take advantage of the operating system. In addition to this, a new class of computers called hybrids or convertibles are also coming to market. Just what are these new types of computers and should you consider one for your next mobile PC? Find out in my article that looks at this revival of a computing system first introduced nearly a decade ago.
