Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system was a major change that tried to combine the worlds of the personal computer with the new tablet devices. Their first device while having the appearance of Windows 8 did not offer that same legacy software support that many customers have come to expect. Now the company has released their second hardware device with the promise of being able to support all of the software catalog just like a traditional laptop or desktop computer would. Does this new tablet have what it takes to compete against the portability of existing tablets or the performance and flexibility of traditional laptops? Find out in my review of the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet.
