Intel dominates much of the personal computer world thanks to its high performance chips which give it an edge in most tasks. AMD has struggled for some time but has carved out is niche in the budget area thanks to the APU's that integrated a CPU and graphics into a single package that offer better graphics support than Intel's integrated graphics. Very little is seen of its performance FX processor lineup. It offers more processor cores than Intel at specific price points. ASUS decided to use this for their CM1855 series of desktops. Are the extra processor cores sufficient to make this a nice performance system for around $800? Find out in my review of the ASUS CM1855-US003S desktop PC.
