With the release of Windows 8, a large number of personal computers are now using touchscreens. They haven't really caught on with consumers much so this week Best Buy is running a promotion of $100 off any Windows 8 touchscreen based laptops and desktops. This includes the Samsung Series 5 for just $730 after discounts. It features much of the standard ultrabook features including an Intel Core i5-3317U dual core processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 500GB hard drive, 13.3" display, 802.11a/g/n wireless and Windows 8. The price discounts push what was a mid-range ultrabook into the more affordable range that may appeal to those that don't necessarily want a tablet but still want the touch interface.
