Falcon Northwest Support Profile

By January 5, 2014

Follow me on:

Falcon Northwest has been a big player in the prestige desktop systems designed for PC gaming. They tend to make some of the best systems available, but they cost a fair amount as well. One of the big things consumers buying these systems get is the support. Falcon makes a big deal that they don't outsource their support. So what exactly does one get with a Falcon Northwest PC?

Included in the profile I list the various avenues that users have for support, some published ratings of the their product support, tips and advice. In addition, I'm posting a survey below and in the profile asking users for their opinion of Falcon Northwest. If you have used their support, please vote in the survey and share your experience.

How would you rate Falcon Northwest's support?

I’m having performance issues on a $15k Mach V system from Falcon, its less than six months old. I called for support and explained my problem and the tech answered with “I don’t know”. Asked if there was any suggestions and I got “nope”. He had no interest in my problem and seemed like he was busy reading a magazine or something cuz I heard alot of stuff moving about in the background. So I told him I’m sorry for bothering him and he said “no problem”. I still can’t believe it.

What a ripoff! We have this $4000 piece of junk that hasn’t worked right since we got it. At first, tech support was OK, but now I am stuck waiting (4.5 business hours and counting, now) for a callback that will probably never come. For the reliability of this hunk of chips and wires, you are better off buying a dell. At least they pick up the phone (eventually).
