6/30/03 - Enermax/WaveSonic have produced a high quality power supply with its EG651P-VE. The high wattage unit provided extremely stable voltage lines during low and high loads which should work very well for those looking to overclock their CPU. It has a large number of power connectors with cables long enough to reach even the furthest devices in a full size tower case. With that in mind, this power supply would not be a good choice for a smaller desktop case due to the large number of wires. Another area that could use improvement is the seperation of the 3.3v and 5v lines onto seperate power rails. The manual speed fan does increase cooling performance but it is more beneficial for reducing noise.
