Guide Review - Vantec ICEBERQ CCB-A1C VGA and Chipset Cooling Kit
10/19/03 - Vantec's ICEBERQ CCB-A1C VGA and chipset cooling kit has been on the market for a number of years. It was originally conceived as a replacement for the OEM cooling solutions included on many AGP graphics cards, but it also has the ability to fit on many motherboard chipsets, primarily the NVIDIA nForce2. In testing, the cooler did perform better than existing passive heatsinks, but the difference was a small 5 degress Farenheit (3 Celsius). This is not a significant difference for those looking to overclock their video card or CPU by large margins. On the plus side, the low cost of the solution makes it very attractive.
