Guide Review - MPC Millenia 920i
8/20/03 - MPC's Millenia 920i is a surprise for the mainstream desktop market. The system packs in a large number of higher performance parts but the drawback is the cost and lack of some features. The main benefit to the system is the use of the i875P chipset from Intel. This allows the system to support the Pentium 4 800MHz bus processors and dual channel memory with Performance Acceleration Technology. This gives the system very good performance levels. It even has an NVIDIA GeForceFX 5200 Ultra graphics processor for good 3D graphics. The high price does have some drawbacks. The system lacks any FireWire ports, only ships with a 2.4GHz CPU and has integrated AC '97 Audio.
