Guide Review - Gateway 200X
9/14/03 - The first thing that most people notice about the Gateway 200X is its large 14.1" display. This is the largest display available in an ultraportable and will be welcome for those who have trouble reading small screens. Of course, the large screen does has its drawback. This system still has a 1 inch height, but the space necessary for the screen almost puts the remaining dimensions in the thin and light category. These dimensions allow Gateway to offer a lot in terms of features, including an internal optical drive that many of its competitors lack. Computing tasks won't be a problem thanks to its 1.4 GHz Pentium M processor. Those who don't want to skimp on computing power but want portability should take a look at this system.
