9/7/03 - Fujitsu's LifeBook P5000 series of ultraportables are an amazing sight. This small system is a complete notebook computer containing all of the components one needs including an internal optical drive, an uncommon feature in many ultraportables. Add to this a wide screen LCD display and it makes a great portable DVD player while travelling. Battery life is surprising for such a small computer thanks to the use of the ultra low voltage Pentium M processor. This processor is also probably one of its biggest weaknesses because it is much slower than other portables. Still most individuals using it will have more than enough power for watching videos on a plane or doing business applications. This is definitely one to look at.
