Guide Review - Sony VAIO PCG-Z1VA
11/12/03 - Sony is definitely one of the leaders in style for the PC laptop market. The VAIO PCG-Z1VA is one of their most attractive notebooks available, but it is also one of their most expensive. The system features the Intel Centrino package with a very fast Pentium M 1.6 GHz processor and 802.11b wireless. Storage is impressive with 512MB memory, 60GB hard drive and 24x CD-RW combo. This is to be expected considering the price though. Graphics are a bit of a downside on this system. It ships with a 14.1" LCD screen that uses a very dated ATI Radeon Mobility M7 graphics processor. This should be enough for most users, but with the cost of this system a better graphics processor would be a nice addition. In the end, the VAIO is a very nice system that provides a very stylish design for a thin and light notebook, as long as you are willing to pay the price.
