Guide Review - Voodoo PC Envy M:355
11/13/04 - Voodoo PC is a manufacturer of prestige systems primarily to the PC gaming market. The Envy M:355 is designed for the gamer looking for a lightweight system that has good battery life and power. The system features an Intel Pentium M processor matched with 512 MB of memory. Hard drive storage is average at 40MB and the CD-RW Combo drive has a below average speed of 16x over the more typical 24x speed. Graphics on the system are quite impressive with an ATI Radeon Mobility 9000 graphics matched up with a large high resolution 15" SXGA+ LCD. Connectivity is good with 802.11b wireless built in. All of this has a very high price tag. The hefty price tag does include wide variety of colors. In the end, if you have the money and want bragging rights about the notebook, the Voodoo PC Envy M:355 fits that nicely, otherwise look elsewhere for a much less expensive notebook.
