One downside to owning a monitor of this size, though, is increased power consumption.

This monitor also features full HD 2560x1600 resolution like the Dell UltraSharp U3011 and is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors and 4.1 million pixels for incredible picture quality. The ZR30w's stand tilts, swivels, and the height can be adjusted so you can create a more comfortable viewing experience.
3. Best 3D Monitor - Acer HN274H 27-Inch Display

Recently released, the Acer HN274H is a 27-inch display that features a built-in IR transmitter and arrives with 3D active shutter glasses. Although the maximum resolution is 1920x1080 (which is lower than non-3D UltraSharp models), this is the first 27-inch 3D panel to hit the market with an HDMI 1.4 3D connection. After testing the Acer HN274H hands-on, I found the monitor to be quite impressive even in 2D mode.
4. Best 27 Inch Monitor - Dell UltraSharp U2711 27-Inch Display

If the price and size of a 30-inch monitor is just a bit too much, you can still have a phenomenal gaming experience with a 27-inch monitor. The Dell UltraSharp U2711 retails for $1,099, but Dell often has coupon codes to knock the price down. What is great about the Dell UltraSharp U2711 is the excellent full HD resolution (2560x1440 for this model). It also can display 1.07 billion colors with an 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. The height of the stand can be adjusted for just the right viewing angle.
5. Best 24 Inch Monitor - Dell UltraSharp U2410 Display

The Dell UltraSharp U2410 is a 16:10 IPS display with excellent viewing angles and a max resolution of 1920x1200. The 80,000:1 contrast ratio offers deep blacks and rich colors. The Dell U2410 also has a 6ms response time that makes ghosting a non-issue. Along with being great for gaming, the Dell UltraSharp U2410 also works well for graphic designers with Adobe RGB and sRGB compatibility. HDMI, Display Port, and DVI-D digital connectors offer enhanced compatibility with higher end video cards for better graphics. A good choice for those looking to using multiple displays for ATI EyeFinity or NVIDIA 3D Surround setups.
