The cables and connectors for the USB, FireWire and Audio from the front panel deserve special mention. In most cases, the connectors for this are separated individually and require tedious connections based on diagrams with the motherboard. This was done originally because of the lack of standard connectors. This has since changed and now there are standard layouts, but most case manufacturers still do the individual wires.
Lian-Li deserves credit for supplying the standard connectors for the USB, FireWire and Audio connections. In addition to these, they also have the individual connectors that run off the larger connector. They are strapped back to the cable via a zip tie. If a user requires the individual connectors, they just need to cut the zip tie to access them.
On a less positive note, the way that the cables are routed from the bottom front of the panel up to the motherboard can result in cable lengths that are not sufficient to be used. This is due to the layout of the motherboard being different from the standard ATX layout.
