802.11g

Definition: 802.11g - A wireless data networking standard using the 2.4 GHz sprectrum allowing for data transmission between computers at a speed up to 54 Mbps. It is backwards compatible with the 802.11b standard transmitted along the same frequency but at the 11 Mbps speeds. This is one of several specifications that make up the Wi-Fi standard.
