Even though eVGA is typically known for including very little in their graphics card packages, the GeForce 7800 GTX features a few extra items. The package includes the following:
- GeForce 7800 GTX Graphics Board
- User Manuals
- Software Drivers CD
- Cyberlink Power Director ME CD
- eVGA Logo Stickers
- Two DVI to VGA Converters
- S-Video Cable
- Video In/Video Out Box
- Two Molex to PCI Express Power Connector Adapter
The power adapter cable is probably one of the most important items that comes with the graphics card. While the new PCI Express slots do provide additional power over the older AGP slots, the amount of power required by the latest graphics cards is very significant. A new form of power connector was also implemented with the PCI Express standards. Older power supplies that do no feature the new 6-pin power connector can use this cable to take two 4-pin Molex connectors to power the video card.
The DVI to VGA adapters are useful for those people who are still using either a CRT monitor or a LCD monitor that uses the older analog interface. It includes two of these interfaces on the graphics card, thus eVGA includes two adapters.
The video breakout box is a surprising addition that will be discussed in more detail later.
