Tips/Advice:
HP has been in the process or redesigning their web site. As part of this redesign, they are attempting to reduce the number of pages that users need to go through to find support for their products. Now instead of wading through pages, the main support page will prompt users for their model number to try and get them the info quicker. If you aren't sure of your product model number, HP provides instructions on how to find it. You can also use the auto-detect function if you are using the computer in question with the website. They have also added forums as a means for consumers to try and get help from other HP users.

While I review a large amount of products from companies such as HP and Compaq, I may not have much first hand experience with using their support departments for getting assistance.
