Pretty much every aspect of the Lenovo web site requests your product type or details. They do provide a link to automatically detect what type of system you have but this does not always work depending upon security and software settings on the computer. If the auto-detection does not work, follow their instructions for finding your product number to use in Lenovo's forms.
While I review a large amount of products from companies such as Lenovo, I may not have much first hand experience with using their support departments for getting assistance. Because of this, I'm asking readers who have used Lenovo's (or previously IBM's) various support options to rate how they feel they were able to resolve their problem.
