Installing Notebook Memory Modules

Once the panel has been securely put in place, the installation of the memory is done. Return any power cords to the computer. When the computer is powered back up, it may be necessary to go into the computer BIOS to let the system properly detect the new RAM that has been installed in the computer. Please refer to the user manual for the computer system for any additional information.

• Locating the Memory Access Panel
• Remove Any Screws From Access Panel
• Remove the Access Panel
• (Optional) Remove Old Module
• Align the Memory Module
• Secure the Memory Module
• Replace the Memory Access Panel
• Fasten the Access Panel to the Case
• Power Up the Notebook
