Guide Review - IC Power CM2017 17-inch
When I was in the market for an LCD/TFT monitor, I came across this one at Wal-Mart. There were two differant makes in stock at the time, one (I don't recall the brand name) which had a 15.4" screen for $138.00, and this one, the IC Power CM2017, with a 17" screen for $138.72 Well, it didn't take a ton of brainpower to figure out which was the better but based on screen size alone. Although the audio from the built-in speaks is a bit on the tinny and quiet side (I now use external HP speakers or a headset) I was quite impressed at the way the resolution was automatically set when I turned it on for the first time, in addition to how much sharper the graphics were on my Compaq SR1403WM.
