acer ASPIRE one

At first I bought the reduced version of the aspire one, but found it lacking in some areas. Then I decided to return it and by the 2nd version. My gosh what an improvement! It included an 11.6 inch screen, the second and better version of the intel atom processor, plus the screen on the computer is HD! There are so many other wonderful things to say about this netbook, total price for all this was 332.40 after California sales tax of 8.75%! The weight like many others is also under 3lbs, and it is pre-packaged with Bluetooth! Keyboard size is 100%! It came with a 2 gigs of ram and a 250gb hard drive!

Eee PC - Best for ME!

I work online, so access is important. I have a laptop and desktop, but I depend on my Eee PC for quick access and on-the-go work. It boots up so fast, is lightweight, and the battery life is amazing. While I wouldn't want to type for hours on it, the keyboard is still quite functional.

Eee PC 1005HA-Pu1x

The only 'negative' is the smallish screen, everything else is excellent. AND you can dump Windoze and put Ubuntu Linux on it and have fun getting real work done. :^)

best netbook

I love the Toshiba NB200. It is stylish and very functional. I like everything about it and highly recommend it.

Asus Eee PC 1005HA pu1K

10 inch netbook has 10 hour battery life, battery that is replaceable, can hold 2 MB ram (most others limited to 1 MB), has Eee docking tools, 3 USB ports, SD card reader, less than 3 pounds, 92% size keyboard. Runs very quickly. Two finger swipe can reduce or increase screen size. Webcam. My only thing is that the glossy finish attracts fingerprints.

eeePC yeh yeh yeh

I'ts so chunky and easy to use editing movies is so simple on it you can lay on your back hold it in one hand and away you go -- the ASUS eeePC 900MA has more space than you will ever need I wanted a red one but had to settle for a white.

netbooks

I'll buy a netbook when Apple makes one. I don't do Windows! :-D

Samsung NC10

I love my Samsung NC10. It's small and light, but the keyboard is big enough that it is actually useful for serious work. Has plenty of power to run programs, including Dreamweaver and the rest of the CS4 suite.

I love my laptot

i have the HP mini. I purchased mine through Verizon. I have the broadband connection so I can connect without needing Wifi. I upgraded on the battery, went with the 6 cell verses the 3 cell. Good call bc the 6 cell comes with a lift so it is easier to type. I read alot of reviews and thought I was going to need to upgrade my RAM as well (1 GB is standard). as of yet, I dont see a reason to upgrade RAM, 1 GB is good for me. I use my mini to check email, fb and skype (has a built in camera as well ;) I tell everyone about the tot and would highly recommend one if you only need a personal computer to socialize.

Eee!

I love its battery life and weight, I've had it playing movies from 7PM all the way till 11:30PM and it still had life to spare for the trip home after the shift

best netbook

Toshiba Mini NB205-N210 I love this laptop! I actually sold my 17" Toshiba laptop because it was so heavy (around 9 lbs) to carry around school and since I already have a desktop at home, this netbook is perfect for taking it to school to taking notes. It's really cute too, I like the look of it. Also, I really like the feel of the keyboard, it's not the cheap kind, it's like the Macbook keyboard. I really recommend it if you need it for school. The only thing that I would want is a CD/DVD drive but I guess that's the reason it's so light, I'll need to buy an external one to download Microsoft Office. Overall, it's a good product.

ASUS Eee PC 1005HA

My only complaint about this Netbook (and that's a big statement) is that they moved the "End" button and made it a function key. The keyboard is still big enough to be useful, they screen is clear and bright. The battery is phenomenal, while the netbook is still light and stylish. For all of the things I need it for, it runs reasonably quickly with no memory issues (and I didn't yet upgrade the RAM). Love it. Oh, and this model comes with a sleeve. It's a small thing, but it's nice not having to buy it later.
