If you have used HP's products and needed to deal with their support department for some reason, please feel free to write down how that experience was and any information you that may be beneficial to others who have Apple products. Similarly, if you are looking to buy an HP product, this information may be helpful in deciding if you should go ahead or look at another company. Share Your Experience

HP laserjet 2055

Customer service rep was very nice, but issue with 6 month printer was not resolved. Too much time was spent on the phone, they are very reluctant to replace printers and insist it's the computer network, even though computer tech serviced the printer and said it was faulty. They waste too much time trying to be nice and unable to resolve issue. Very unhappy waiting with the time I wated on this printer I could have bought a new one for what it cost me in my time with my client.

worst tech support experience ever

worst tech support experience EVER! I purchased a Officejet 4500 wireless to replace my c3180 (also an HP product). The first 4500 I got was defective and it took 2 + hours online with HP support to determine this. THEN when (against my better judgment) I got ANOTHER one to replace it, and wanted to unistall the software from the c3180 (again, it's also an HP product), I was told after spending nearly an hour on the phone with two different techs (I was transferred the first time to a PC tech, even though I clearly asked for mac on the option menu) that I would have to pay $69.99 for the support to uninstall the c3180 software!!! This, after the tech insisted on my unpacking the c3180 (that I had already packed up in a box, ready to send by mail to the person I had sold it to,) just to get the serial number! He needed the serial number so he could determine if it was out of warranty or not. I could have told him that without unpacking the item. All I can say is, if this is the way this

I have never hated as much as now

I talked with them for 2+ effen hours and still nothing! They had me run a ton of bs tests (that I knew were going to fail as I am a Comp-TIA/Cisco admin) and finally ended with me telling them to go down under, I am returning your crappy desktop(that I already lost valuable files) and buying a Apple iMac! I am getting ripped off on price, but it is WELL WORTH the extra not to deal with those miserable miserable people! I have dealt with Dell being awful we all know it's not worth the trouble, I spent TWICE AS LONG with them and they still wouldn't send me a freakin 64bit copy of vista instead of 32(in that problem). I got a better result from BT (Used my client's official OEM key and all so it is legit) but I will NEVER EVER buy a pre-built computer from anyone except Apple, I would give them both straight F. I no longer bother with warrenties and tell customers (if they can return them) to return the computer and get iMac/Macbook, it's just not worth the crap you gotta take.

You sell Lemons

My son and I purchased my husband one of your top of the line laptops not even 3 yrs ago and the second mother board smoked really and died. We hoped he would start to learn com. but he put only 1 or2 hrs a week max on it or any normal user would have fried the piece of junk in a year. At 61 I know this is a waste of time but I now Know what to tell anyone we know what not to waste their money on. You did offer to let me bay for the secont mother board but no thanks. My husband is still leting me know how much money I wasted.I know I will never hear from you but I at least feel better. Have a nice day I am using my 7 yr old dell still works thank god

Bad HP support

I asked 2 separate HP techs if a client’s laptop was upgradable from Vista to Windows 7. I was told it was. After buying a copy of Windows 7 upgrade, I found out it was not. After 18 hours of being transferred, hung up on, and talking to the “wrong” department I was told- “If I were any kind of tech, I would have known it was not upgradeable” This was from a senior customer service rep. I wish EVERYONE at HP cancer. I will never buy another HP product again.

HP warrenty is garbage

HP has a "one-year" warrenty on printers. When my printer died after 9 months, they replaced it with a REMANUFACTURED one, that died 4 months later - right after the 1 year original warrenty expired. The "replacement" had no warrenty on it's own - just the balance of the original one (which lasted about 9 months.) Let's see how soon I buy another HP
