Absolutely The Worst
- There's nothing like it really. I've been through Dell support, which although terrible, does not come close to amounting to Lenovo's service. I sent in my service to EasyServ and they could not service 20+ dead pixels on my $1800 laptop. On top of that, they mentioned that a simple system board replace would take them more than a month to complete. Two or more weeks to receive the parts? Insanity. I am a college student and simply cannot wait for inexperienced technicians with empty promises. I plead you all not to buy from Lenovo if you have to because if your product does not satisfy you, you will end up wasting more time than you had bargained for trying to get it fixed. A gamble simply not worth taking.

Lenovo support frustration
- I find it amazing that in this day and age of technical wonders, I get get any help with a problem with my 'new' Lenovo Easy cam. I have spent the day trying just to find help for a technical problem and cannot even find a phone number of web address that doesn't end up with a fee or a commitment to give all my personal information. I am absolutley disappointed and regret purchasing an IBM product.

Liars, worst "customer service" ever
- Bottom line is I never thought a legit company would have such terrible so called customer "service". I purchased a Ideapad and found that one of the buttoms wasn't working, so I called for a refund/repair. I ended up spending 2 hours on the phone being transferred back and forth between departments to get a solution to a simple and easy problem! Finally when a senior representative by the name of Christopher and Joseph from the tech. support made arrangements for a mail-in repair. They agreed if the problem isn't fixed, I would get a full refund. They told me they can't get away with this because the calls are recorded. Joseph told me I would receive the Fedex Label later that night after the call through email and the box for repair would ship to my house. It's been more than a week now, I did not get a single email from Lenovo nor did I receive a box. And I don't think the box or email will ever come unless I go bug them again. They are liars and irresponsible people!

call center romania
- I paid for upgrade maintenance service which - according to my pc dealer - includes an on site service of a technician. when I called the service number I was connected to a call center in Romania. they could not care less and told me they don´t care what the dealer specified - they do not give any such service. the only thing they do is send a replacement of the faulty part and the customer has to take apart his laptop by himself and install the new part. I told them I am no computer technician and was given the impression this additional (and expensive) maintenance upgrade includes a service technician who fixes the problem on site. they denied this in the most unfriendly and disinterested way and told me customers have to be able to do the repair by themselves !!!

Lenovo is the worst....
- I will not go into all the details but everything said above me is correct. They lie, they can't even take basic directions down with the problem. The depot is worthless for repair. I have an 8 month old Y550. I guess I am going to have to buy a new computer to replace an 8 month old computer. I am going mac...I can't take this garbage. Do yourself and others a favor and tell everyone that Lenovo is Chinese junk as well as the customer service is worthless. They totally ruined and American icon. You knew they would though...

Poor Lenovo Tech Help
- While Lenovo laptops are great, their support team is often rude and unhelpful, except if a problem relates to hardware. They refuse to get involved with their own factory-installed software. This would not be a problem if their corrective downloads were fully automated. But the fact is their download instructions are very long and complicated, unless you happen to be a geek, which I am not.

Horrible service!!!!
- Clarification...Lenovo is no longer under IBM I think. I had wonderful experience with Thinkpad since 2000 and so I decided to upgrade in 2008. Needless to say, I have been regretting it everyday for spending close to $2000 for Lenovo!!!! They never ordered my Recovery CD because my hard drive died (never happened with other Thinkpad). I called twice and both times they LIED and blamed MICROSOFT! I have been without a laptop since 12/18/2009. I so want to sue Lenovo for lost of work time. I am a private consultant and PhD student that's been without a laptop!!!! I know no one is perfect, but the fact they LIED...that's just NOT acceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Wouldn't Call it Customer "Service"
- Within four months I have had two major problems with my Ideapad, the most recent of which required sending it to their depot for repair. They promised that it would be returned within 7 business days and I have been waiting for over 2 weeks. Every time I call the agent cannot find my service information because the first agent incorrectly put brackets around my area code, so they cannot look it up properly. Each person I have spoken to has offered a different timeline and given a different excuse why they have yet to send my computer back. I previously had an Thinkpad and very much regret buying the Ideapad. After accidentally calling the Thinkpad hotline one time and speaking with a very nice guy in Atlanta I was told they couldn't help me and that I had to hang up and call the third party Ideapad line which goes to somewhere in the Philippines, where few if any people understand what I say. Warning - poorly made computers and even worse customer service trying to fix them.

Lost my order, waited over 2 months
- These guys told me my order was lost but it had been set to a high priority... for two months. I canceled my order but it didn't matter since they were never going to send it anyways. What a nightmare.

Absolute worst!
- I had the absolute worst customer experience while purchasing a computer from Lenovo. It has taken over a week to even get the order processed. And now that allegedly it has been processed they are giving me an estimated ship date of November 3rd. How can it take a company that manufactures computers over 1month to ship a computer it to a customer? That is not even including shipping time. I requested no configurations or modifications just the basic model and it takes that long. I don't understand how no one has taken action inside the company to get this process to work better. I sincerely hope that they get this process working faster in the future as I can't imagine many customers will be as patient as I have been. Certainly, I will not be either purchasing another computer from them or recommending anyone else that they even think about doing it.

Lenovo customer service
- A total nighmare. They are rude and only interested in getting you off the phone. Very poor technicians who make a lot of mistakes. I wasted hours solving an easy problem.

Personal experience with Lenovo support
- Support organization (and quality) depends on the Lenovo product. When you call the US support number about a ThinkPad (these were the IBM products), you will be given a different number to call. Never had to get support for ThinkPads; I've owned several ThinkPads, and currently use two. My IdeaPad had to be sent in for warranty support. Support for IdeaPads is handled by 3rd party company Sutherland (suth.com). They sent me a shipping box by FedEx. 1 week after my unit was received at the central repair center in TX, I called for an update. I then found out that my unit had been set aside because they were waiting for the BIOS password, but no one bothered to call me or send me an email asking for the information. Actually, I had removed the BIOS password before sending the unit and they could have gotten into the system if only they had tried. I would rate IdeaPad support as average, as I'm sure the other PC brands aren't perfect, either.
